Oh man.

I am really digging today, as Skins's island is as boring as Hell.

This is the email I want to send to my former employer but haven't had the balls to. Perhaps I should. I would like some opinions.

Hello sir,

I just wanted to give you a little update on how my life is going since I parted on such great terms from your business. I wanted to thank you kindly for all of the great things that have happened since.

Yes, I do have a job, but to what gain? Thankfully, I could pay my rent one more month. But what good is that without electricity, gas, or a phone? Because those will all be shut off this week. I have a whole $50 to my name to live on until August 8th. Believe it or not, unemployment does not pay that well. According to them, with a Masters degree which no one that works at your fine establishment has, is only worth $10 an hour. Awesome. Glad I spent $50,000 to get that worthless piece of paper.

I do hope that you are doing well with your privileged life that has been handed to you. I am so glad that you have never had to face the choice of not eating or getting to work. I sincerely hope that the next time you pass over a bridge that I will not be there. Not that you would stop and give that person help anyway.

Thanks for that $2000, that obviously went a really long ways, that was so generous of you. Please give my regards to everyone there that sold me out. Especially your Executive Manager that you hired after telling me that I was in charge of your business. I could have done wonders for your company if it had not been for her feeling threatened by a 30 year old who may have had better ideas than her. Oh, and also give regards to the person I got a job for that threw me under the bus so she could have my job. Too bad for her you did away with my position which I proclaimed to you as a crap position in the first place upon my suggestion when exiting your establishment. That was the one time you ever listened to me. Or your pocket book because that save you a boatload of money. All she got was more work for the same pay, for which I do feel somewhat vindicated.

And I do know that you are concerned with my partner for whom you had so much regard. She is still unemployed thanks to you because we cannot get her car in working order due to financial hardships. She feels just great about herself, and you for that matter. Thanks for being afraid of two people loving each because they are the same gender. How kind and forward thinking of you.

But lastly, thanks for the self esteem with which I have struggled over for the past few months. I know in the back of my mind that I am and will always be better than that position and your company. Yet, not being able to pay my bills has made me feel quite the opposite. Funny how that works. I would love to see your response, but considering I won't have internet until I am actually able to pay my electric bill, would hinder this. Of course, that would also mean you would have to care to even form a response in the first place, which I know you do not. Thank you, kind Republican who thinks he earned his right to live in this country when I did not, because, of course, you are better than me. I will take my place in the ranks of the poor and not worthy of kindness or respect.

Sincerely,

You former employee

Fascinating how their minds work.  All of their problems are created/caused by someone else.  The only way they ever see to dig themselves out of the hole they're in is if someone else lifts them out of the hole.  It never occurs to them to try something different.

Self reliant they are not.

That's going to get passed around the office and laughed at hardily.  By the time I was 30, I had sold one business and started up two others.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

So.....there's no help wanted ads in her paper?

McDonalds (or Chick Fil A :-)) aren't hiring?

No cans on the highway?

Just get something to pay the bills until the economy turns around, and then she can put her Master's in Minority Transgender Studies to good use.

Burning bridges is always a great tactic.
Prospective new employer only needs to inquire if "it", is eligible for rehire.
Oops.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

How is that reference going to look?
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

Waaaa waaaa waaaaa sniffle sniffle and only got 2000 severance to go with unemployment. Life is truly a bitch. $50 is more than enough to buy gas and enough ramen to last 4 whole days. If both you munchers would get motivated your unemployed "partner"/co-dependent could go day labor to make some money to buy tofu to go with the ramen. Her car being broken down is a cop out. You could *gasp* carpool to your respective jobs because of hers being broken. Her self esteem issues will be solved by getting a job and becoming productive again rather than sleeping till 2. If that doesn't do it then finding a man surely will.

See that DUmmie, I solved 3 of your major bitches with minimal thought. You 2 should try it. It really won't hurt, promise.

Now on to the 2 major obvious lies. You have electricity AND Internet because here you are at the DUmp posting. I suppose you'll try and claim to be doing this from work. If you do and you really are it's obvious that the lesson your last job should have taught you still hasn't sunk in and won't until you lose a few more. Try it in English.

Do your job and quit screwing off online at the DUmp.

You know, actually franksolich once wrote a letter to a former employer, David Hunter.

It was after I'd returned from the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants, in the late 1990s, about seven years after the two of us had parted ways--he wanted me to fire someone and I refused, so he fired me.

The whole story's in the Sandhills forum here; I'm sure most remember it.

http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,30787.0.html

Anyway, once back in the United States, I wrote him a sincere letter expressing my gratitude for having had the chance to work for him (I lasted four years, four times longer than all four of my predecessors put together), because it toughened me up for enduring the socialist paradises.

He was flattered, but a couple of years later alas this top Democrat put the barrel of a gun into his mouth and pulled the trigger.

I hope DUmmy blurnumbers is lurking, because I have at least a short term answer to her situation.

The two munches should consider peddling their tails.

No matter how repulsive their appearance may be, there is always a market.

For safety, they could work as a pair. In fact, they could charge a premium for working in tandem.

Since they are DUmp democrats, there should be no religious or moral obstacles.

It's a tax-free cash-only business. Go get 'em, girls!

blur256 is getting unemployment and got a $2000. severance pay check. Wonder how long ago this happened? If recent, why didn't they fix the broken car and save some for getting through hard times?

But this statement is the one that caught my eye:
Quote
Please give my regards to everyone there that sold me out.

Looks like she did something that brought all these problems on herself, and now she is trying (unsuccessfully) to lay all the blame on her former employer. I guess that is a prime example of Dummy logic.

It almost goes without saying that the blurry DUmmy has problems with impulse control and failure to consider the consequences of her actions.

Could this be the reason she was fired?
