yes I have Repug friends.

Many of which send me those pass on e-mails that are RW drivel and lies. I used to respond to them providing them data and Snopes reviews to refute - but that didn't stop them. Now I just totally ignore whatever they send me and feel sorry for them.

These are smart - college educated people. A couple of them are CEO's of companies, accountants, businessmen - yet they continue to embarrass themselves by sending this crap around to everyone on their e-mail listing. One would think that they are smart enough to verify what they are sending out before they hit send - but they don't. Instead they pass on this crap and in my mind they make themselves looking totally silly. Really - I'm embarrassed for them and feel bad that they are totally oblivious to the fact the others - like myself - laugh at them and make fun of them because of their blindedness to the facts.

I wonder if somehow we could run some sort of embarrassment campaign and knock some sense into these people. Make them feel uncomfortable that others perceive them as less of a person because they are so biased that they lose all common sense and sense of reality.

They would be mortified if they realized their employees perceive them as less a person. They are sending these things on to their friends like me - and not all of their friends are like minded and as biased as they are.

No, what they have is grandfathered in friends. The ones that seemed normal twenty years ago and were fun and part of the group, but are not anymore. You really can't not invite these people but you don't get their invites out first or put any pressure on them to come to gatherings. When they don't come, everyone talks about how weird they have become.
