Simplify, then add lightness.

My MG B weighs about 2,000 pounds with the 1.8l engine.  It won't beat a Mustang GT from a red light, but it's plenty of fun to drive.

Mine (see avatar) weighs about 2300 5l & it will beat a mustang (not that I ever street race).  Really fun to drive.

I've got a pretty good hole shot up to ~40MPH.  I can just shut her down after that, and feign looking too dignified to continue.  :whistling:
