eta: I found this via an ad that flashes on before the "**** You" video we all love.

1. how dare he! who does he think he is, the most powerful man in the world?!

Even the most powerful man in the world, does not have the authority to bypass the Constitution and rule by decree. For 8 years I kept hearing how arrogant Bush was and how he was trampling on the Constitution. Yet when 0bama does just that, you goons cheer. The only people who give a dman about his skin color is you goons, and you use that to deflect from having to actually defend his actions.

2. The repigs are upset

I can see why the repigs are upset.

In their world, you only get to be arrogant if you're uneducated and have a long record of 24x7 failure.

Yet we have seen Bush's grades, why has the smartest man ever hidden his?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

WHAT'S FOR SUPPER, GRANDPAW?

Hound dog fried in the bestest of hog lard served in a thick scumpious gravy, green beans cooked with a strip of lean meat and mashed potatoes that flow like honey. Collard greens cooked with a giant ham hock and corn on the cob fit for a queen. Cracklin cornbread all golden brown and fresh from the oven. Sweet ice tea and piping hot sweet potato pie topped with a dollop of homemade peach icecream.

Good job. It almost sounds like it was written for the show. You know, I saw somewhere that Grandpa didn't really care for the "what's for supper" segments.

I also wonder how many here know what we're talking about.

If they do, then they're probably old enough to be voting conservative by now... :-)

I have voted for a republican president in every election since 1968....campaigned for Barry Goldwater in '64 but back then you had to be 21 to vote so I had to wait until '68.....and I'd vote for Nixon again in a skinny minute over Obummer.

How do the DUmmies know that 'arrogant' is not referring to O's white half.  I think *they* are racists just for assuming otherwise.

I remember the show but, I don't recall any "grandpaw".  I just remember (fondly) short shorts & nice clevages.

Grandpa Jones was the little guy with round glass and a big mustache. He sometimes played banjo.

Nope, no help there. Just very-very short shorts & deep-deep cleavages.

Did you notice that there were sometimes musicians on the show? :lmao:

Seriously though, all of the short short ladies were attractive, but the only two that really thrilled me was the blonde that played Nurse Goodbody and one of the dark-haired ladies whose name I can't remember.

Lulu?

Lulu was about 250/300 lbs...Baebie Benton, playboy bunnie and girlfriend to Hefner.

Barbie was hot, but I don't think she was on there that long. I looked up the dark haired one that I'm talking about. She's Lisa Todd.

I remember this ditty:

Where oh where
Are you tonight?
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the world over,
And thought I found true love.
You met another and
THPPP (sp)
You were gone.

I used to do the moaning on the "Gloom, despair, and agony on me..." song REAL loud.

Here are links to videos of these songs for those who don't know/remember.

Um...I'm having memory problems.  You wouldn't happen to have any videos of Barbie Benton would you?
