miniature roasting pan
« on: April 30, 2012, 03:23:01 PM »
I wasn't sure where to put this, but has anyone ever heard of or seen one?? I would like to get one, with a grate for to prepare my cornish hens and other bits of deliciousness.

Go to the pots and pans section in your store and find the good old fashioned dark blue/grey white speckled roasting pan and lid. There should be on that's only about 8X10 or so, and it has a rack in it. They are pretty reasonable.

I've had this kind for years in a small and a large and I still use them for some things. Just as I use my Calphlon roasting pans for some things.

I always use an uncovered Pyrex baking dish to roast my chicken. The one I use is approx 8" x 10". I also use it for many other baking needs. (I firmly believe in multitasking kitchen products!!)  One of these might work:

and it can be obtained from here: http://toronto.flyerland.ca/products/bed-bath-and-beyond-pyrex-r-grip-rite-product-3055778

These work great:

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

It's well seasoned.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I've got one from the 30's with the "beehive" lid. Love the old school cast. (smoother finish)
