What constellation is that?

www.electstevedawes.com

Knowing Stevie, it's either Reticulum or Scutum.

I go with Reticulum, since it's only visible in the Southern Hemisphere.   :rotf:

We may have been giving the Big Guy more credit than he deserves in putting his pseudo-informative website together. Of course, http://www.electstevedawes.com/ is the place to o for all that is to know, but the weepers misleading website looks very similar to his fellow comrade's sites. Looks like Sarpy Co dems broke the bank for it's losers and had a hard time finding even a different template. Click around and see-

http://www.sarpydemocrats.org/

Looks like the Sarpy County Democrats are not proud of ol' Socialist Steve. They didn't boldface the type for "Bellevue City Council- Ward 1", as they did for all the other candidates. I think the DUmbshits call that a "dogwhistle".

It reminds me- I have never seen more than a half-dozen replies to one of the Bellevue Bolshevik's campaign announcements in the DUrinal.

Poor Steve. Poor, poor Steve. It brings a tear to the eye, you know?

Well. A single sign.
No knocking on doors. No debates. Dodging questions from the newspaper and a mad socialist scheme to take over power companies...

Will all these factors equate to victory for Steve today?

Stay tuned, true believers. as we await the inevitable conclusion. No matter how it turns out we will all have a good laugh.

Well you did not expect a socialist to work for anything?

It might be the only sign that Steve has. They maybe rotating it around the area...

You know...

...he boasted of the funds raised at DU and other places. I'm curious to know how much money was raised vs. how much was spent on campign materials.

I think it's safe to say he's not having illicit sex relations--or any sexual relations for that matter--ala John Edwards but I think an audit is in order.

I would imagine that Nebraska is like most other states in that one must disclose all funds totalling over a certain threshold.  Here in NH, that level is anything over $500, meaning that if he raised $501 (or services in-kind) and fails to report it, he could be in big trouble.

Yup.  Big trouble indeed if someone in NE state government were to find out.  Big trouble for sure.

I went to dinner at a friend's house in Papillion this evening, and on my way back home I decided to swing through Bellevue's 1st Ward to see how it looked on the ground the night before the election.  Most of the City Council signs were for Scott Houghtaling, but I did find one sign for Mr. Dawes:

Looks like those are in the public right-of-way...that may warrant a phone call , depending on what the local laws are regarding signs in the Public ROW.

I just hope he gets off his ass and picks them all up the day after he loses.  It pisses me off to see damn campaign signs left as litter.  Obama signs are still around here in the ditches and ROW.

Usually they put the telephone poles in the ROW so you might just be right...he looks like he is on the BOS (back of sidewalk if there was one)  If it is the BOS side he is on private property.

At least we can rest assured that Dawes has the vacant property vote. That has to count for something, right ?

Maybe. Or perhaps some Occupy squatters can 'take over' the vacant lot and form a drum circle around the sign- that'd be fun !

Yeah, I just skimmed the site but it looks like $250 is the magic number in Nebraska.  Don't have time to dig right now, so I'm not sure if anything substantive has to have been filed by this date.

Wow, one sign for all of the alleged DUmmie donations?  That is one expensive sign.

Maybe he can get the DUmmies to send more money.
