Wading into the right-wing cesspools of stupidity, I must admit that I appear to be missing something when reading their hate-filled steaming piles of ignorance; could someone please explain to me why they think this is a TAX issue?

Post after post -- including the Limpballs rant -- speak of taxpayers being forced to pay for contraception. They claim this is what they're upset about. What did I miss? All the Obama plan called for was for insurance companies to provide equal coverage for all who pay for it. No one's employer pays for 100% of the employee's insurance, it is split in varying degrees with the wage earner. But our TAX MONEY doesn't pay for it. Insurance companies make profits from it. Why should an employer care? And if an employer says "you can't have contraception as a part of your health care package," should women get a hefty discount to reflect the savings, or will insurance companies just pocket even more profit?

Either way, how the hell is this an issue of spending tax dollars to provide contraception?

They are doomed if this is what they are going to run on. And it appears that this is what they are going to run on.

No, asshole.  The right didn't choose this topic, the left did. Unfortunately , the media is forcing the candidates and the right into this issue.

I pay for our own Health Insurance, and all these little things being added, things like Viagra, Birth Control Pills etc. add up and my rates keep going up. As I said before, I don't want to pay for your erection or to pay for your orgasm pregnancy prevention. You want to have sex? go for it, just don't make me pay for it.

And why don't they come here to discuss it with us? we can't go there because we'll be banned, but they can come here and they won't be banned.

That is something that the left doesn't realize.  Many different groups have lobbied states to make insurance companies cover their pet illnesses or whatever, so everyone pays for those things.

Imagine if auto insurance companies were force to cover things like tire replacement, brake shoes, oil changes and all the other day to day expenses.

Do you honestly think free contraception is... FREE?  You idiot.  Who ELSE would be paying for the government to provide FREE things?  TAXPAYERS.  You would know that if you had a job and paid taxes.

Limpballs rant -- speak of taxpayers being forced to pay for contraception.

Ummm, NO try again junior.
Limpballs has been talking about the government, (0bama), deciding that insurance companies must provide this for free. He has been going on and on that 0bama nor any president has the Constitutional authority to do this. I love how people who don't listen to Rush, seem to think they know what he says.

As far as what us cavers are saying, we are saying that people should pay for their own birth control pills, condoms, the motel room and the cheap bottle of wine. If insurance companies decide to cover birth control, then they are free to do so.

This whole issue was dreamed up by desperate democrats who know they don't stand a snowball's chance in hell if we focus on 0bama's record, so instead everyone is talking about this made up crisis, meanwhile gas prices are necessarily skyrocketing, and all the president can say is get a tune up, and air up your tires, and more drilling is crazy talk. I hope you goons are happy, we all will be going broke to fill our tanks so we can go to work, but you get free birth control pills.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

4. No, no, no, it's about religious freedom.

They want freedom for the church to make a law that forces everyone to comply with rules that they can not convince their members to follow.

Hey dumbass, they are not trying to pass a law saying that insurance companies can't include birth control. All they are doing is trying to keep the government from forcing them to buy birth control for other people.

Besides why is there all this whining and crying from the left anyway? You got what you wanted birth control pills are now "free".

Yeah but the timing is way off. This will all blow over in a couple of months. By the time the primaries are over they'll have run out of pet issues. 0bama thinks he can win with niche issues if he can create enough panic with his sycophants and their little pet issues.

Yep, a total stunt.  Which has been aided by the complicit allies in the media.

Atman/Texas Toast clearly swings & misses on damn near every issue he comments on.  I'd say he's the Dave Kingman/Rob Deer/Mark Reynolds/Adam Dunn of political commentary.  But that would be an insult to those baseball players...at least they hit a home run once in a while.  Atman has close to a .000 average.

Yep, and I hope Bibi kicks Obama's scrawny ass when he gets here on Monday.

Oh, and it's amazing that the other part of this issue has faded from the limelight.  This also mandates free abortifacients and sterilization.  And if that 30 year old women's reproductive activist can afford an iPhone, she can afford F'ing birth control pills.

I've seen some inside baseball talk that Bibi knows this meeting could singlehandedly take down any hopes of Obama 2012.  Doesn't help that Alan Dershowitz has declared war on Media Matters, too.  I cannot wait for the fireworks.  Bibi's got ballz.

You got it.

And as delilah said after you, what with unemployment, gasoline prices and other inflation, this "niche" issue is going to fade long before the elections.

It's a desperate distraction from the real issues.

Agreed.

Obamacare requires all citizens to obtain health insurance from private companies.  If they cannot do so, then the gov't kicks in to subsidize.  Where does that money materialize except from taxes?

Oops I meant $40 a paycheck which means every 2 weeks in most cases. Doesn't matter though, it's still a scam from Barry and the boys.
