Welome infamousandy!!!! pull up a chair and have a look around!
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Yup, I am at work monitoring an automated test script, so I am using my smartphone for internet access.

I even registered from my phone.  However, I had to use the Opera browser instead of mobile IE.  Remind me to show you how I can stream live TV (along with all my movies and music) to my phone.

I hadn't noticed you using our cool WAPI interface, or I certainly would have gushed accordingly. :-)

I am actually trying to find a way around WAPI when I want to;  I can't do admin stuff via WAPI.

I recommend Opera Mobile.  It can change the user-agent such that the page believes you are a desktop user.

This WAPI interface is great, but there are still some gripes (such as quotes not being marked).

Oh wait, you might be right. I think I just lurk from my phone. I hate having to sign in. I should do that right now to let the gushing commence.  :-)

Are their people here who could help me set up a similar WAPI interface?  My online gaming clan has a SMF based forum.  It has WAPI, but no navigation (no forum list, go up a level, etc)

I was partially mistaken.  Go up a thread is there, but you have to work to get to a thread.  The main page is just the most recent news posts.  You have to click on a poster's name to bring up their profile, then click 'show all posts by this user' to get to forum links

The WAPI interface autodetects that you are on a wireless device, and automatically serves up a
rather dramatically reduced subset of the site functionality.

Everything you need to surf the forums, reply to posts, send and receive PMs, is all there.

But it is what it is;  limited.

I'm not completely sure what you mean by "set the WAPI homepage".  basically, the URL for the WAPI version
of every page on the site is the same as the normal URL, tagged at the end with ";wap2"

What I mean is that when you visit this site, the first page is recent news topics instead of the forum listing.
