New Family Member

Here's Schnitzel. He's a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, about 2 years old. We got him from our vet yesterday. Last night he slept all the way through; no accidents or anything like that. He gets along with Cody. Of course, Cody is the Omega dog and wouldn't fight anything.

He'll accompany Cody and us on the Route US-66 trip.

More as things develop, but so far he's excellent and follows me all over.

How old is he?

The vet said 2 - 5 years old. Two years is on the rabies certificate. He ACTS like a two-year old - lotsa energy, inquisitive, etc.

Our 88 lb chocolate lab thinks he's a lap dog. Geez.

The new one, Schnitzel, may solve my mole problem. He digs their tunnels up, and I don't care since the lawn is trashed there anyway.
