Even though I stopped drinking, I think a clarification of the "Nadinism drinking game" is in order.  For example, in the above example, even though GOBUCKS typed it, he's plainly obvious that he's (rightfully) mocking the Round Mound of Knowledge over there.  Should the participants in the drinking game drink over that one, because it's closely linked to the RMK, or not? :???: :???: :???:

Well time to throw up hands on the jury system.
Not only will I remove myself from juries, but will no longer alert on obvious personal attacks and cyber stalking.

As far as I am concerned the system is useless.

Obamanaut is the front runner for 2012 Magnificent Bastard award, and honestly?  it's only February but I don't see anyone claiming the prize from him.    He could be a progressive communist for all I care, but the man questions and demands others be accountable for their positions for the first time at this site.    What's not to love here?

I have literally tried everything in the book. Alerts don't work, asking him nicely to stop harassing does not work, sending emails to Skinner or Elad, or both, does not work, so at this time I only have one more option... loggin off this site permanently... or at least for a long time.
 
Sadly, after eleven years, my relationship with this site may be coming to an end... and it is due to a very select group of individuals, but in particular ONE.
 
This very select group is at most ten, most likely five... but really, it is ONE.
 
So there is the door, there is the log off button... and that is that.

I have tried to do this in the most adult of ways... but until DU (owners) start taking this shit seriously, it is a serious and very real problem... I have no reason to bother with the site any longer. Sadly, it will not happen until... I suspect, they get sued. That is what made FB take it seriously, that and it was kids doing it to kids. I mean adults would never do that, right?
 
But unfortunately it takes at times... lawsuits.

For the record, we had some good conversations, and for that I am thankful.

and have a good one... and the same goes for a more than a few here... more than a few.
 
But I fear that at this time I have only one more thing to do, and that is for my own sake.
 
For the record, no I am not the one even thinking of this. But somebody will...

I wonder how long before she's back?

Loser!  She was active this morning and I'd bet my life she's busily reading and re-reading her opus right this minute.  The only thing she made good on was her "threat" to relieve herself of jury duty; something she's already partaken in 55 times.  And all the veiled threats to do herself harm in some way!  Loser, loser, loser!

Thankfully there were witnesses who came to bat. That my dear was the last straw. I transfered the next year... and to this day, when I see those bullies, rarely in the streets, when I go visit Mexico City, I cross the street. I have zero interest to know what happened to them, or how they live. They are in a way, dead to me.

So have a good life here in the old DU... I will be closing the door behind me, just as I did when I finally left that toxic environment... and no thanks to the administrators, who blamed for it, and the principals, who blamed me for it. I mean those dears could do nothing wrong.
