Someone help me understand how or why a county coroner/medical examiner would get this body from the DoD?   The body would go directly to the funeral home.

However, since you bring it up, there was no similar apology for her repeated fabrications in this forum, set out in effort to dilute blame for -- or simply cover up -- that mistake. Nor, in fact, has she apologized for her behavior toward less credulous readers, who asked precisely the questions she should have before running with a story.

I infer however that she has regrets in those areas as well, and consider the matter resolved.

I went over to read the thread, and this is driving me nuts. How come they don't have an affirmative action hearts program in place? some people have tons of hearts and some people just have a few, do they not see the hypocrisy in this?

They absolutely need a hearts redistribution program.  Complete with labyrinthine bureaucracy and 2,000 page guidelines to go with it.  Social workers, outreach advocates, diversity experts, and a special 1-800 AIDS hotline go without saying, of course.

That stood out to me as well. wouldn't all the preparation of the body be handled at Dover? All others that come in are taken care of there.
