Nice.      :cheersmate:

I know Sam Andrew (Big Brother and the Holding Co.) He loves to draw faces.

She can check out his blog on bbhc.com

He also likes to take photos (face closeups) He took one of me one morning at Aroma Cafe (where he paints). WORST PHOTO OF ME I'VE EVER SEEN. I told him I'd kill him if he posted it ANYWHERE.    :rotf:

He loves to "facebook" and discuss art. She should friend him.

Awesome! Those are some talented children you have there, BEG!

God alone suffices.

It really surprised me as she normally draws anime using a tablet on her computer. She is really good at it too. She is trying to get her portfolio together to apply to some colleges and needed more realistic hand drawings, we were shocked how good she really is.

Our younger daughter is into drawing horses. How old is your daughter?

That's talent! She is young and can go ?????  I hope America still can give her a chance.
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

Our youngest is 14.  She's gone through spells of drawing mostly horses, dragons, wolves, and owls.  She doesn't really try people.  She has a collection on DeviantArt, but doesn't like me to brag on them because "they don't look real enough."   :-)  She'd do well at anime, though...

Your daughter's drawings are awesome, very realistic, very impressive.  She has a lot of talent!

My husband and I both loved her drawing.  Very talented.

I had four years of art in high school.  I liked drawing body parts too. Isn't that strange ?  My mother had hopes I would one day color for Disney.  Didn't happen.  I love drawing, coloring, painting, only I don't like it to be scheduled so having a hobby as a job wouldn't fit for me.

I wish her luck if she decides to use her skill to make a living.  She has a gift.

WOW!  BEG! :o

Do you think if I gave her a pic of my kids she could draw them for "fun" for me?

I adore you daughter's drawings BEG since I'm a more realistic artist myself. She is a super talented and I always love when you post her work.  :cheersmate:
I have an appreciation for the more finer arts like this and they are really beautiful. I love that you have this super talented family too. My family is similar and my father was incredible with painting, but we had an excellent cartoonist in the family and my aunt(dad's sister) worked as a commercial artist back in the 70's before she started her family. I'm like another poster, I just could not put something that had to be spontaneous for me like drawing into the confines of everyday deadlines so it's always been a hobby that's branched out into other crafting areas although I had the opportunity to go to a very good art school back in the day--it just wasn't for me--plus I was concerned about making a living :-).

Please continue to share these! Beautiful!

Those body part drawings resembled Davinci's, as I recall them.
