These tests are not 100% accurate.  Had a young lady in our church who was told her unborn child would have DS.  She carried it to term and had a perfectly normal baby...no DS.

Same thing happened to my old best friend's brother and his wife.  In fact they had several tests that said the baby had DS and they were all wrong.  Of course it would have been nice if they had done a test to show that the husband was NOT the father, but that is a whole other story.

wow - that would suck ..!

30. Sure, but some choices are irresponsible.
I support her right to choose, but I have the right to say her choice was a very bad one, and will have significant lifelong consequences for all five of her children. Since shes a FFL pro-life nutjob, she probably didn't give the responsibility she's saddling her other kids with any thought, and I think that's appalling.

I've got to wonder...does Lefty think UGP should have been killed as an infant?  Talk about saddling someone with lifelong consequences!!   :thatsright:

Where would it end?  Seriously deformed babies that will die anyway, Down's Syndrome kids...when there is a genetic test for autism, autistic kids....what about a genetic test for dyslexia?  Depression?  Introversion?  Basic intelligence?  **gasp** OBESITY??  **GASP** Conservative thought patterns!!!!     :censored: them

this is where i usually insert my "guess what parents could do if it was *gay*...?" do they really want science headed in this direction where we heteros could just obliterate them from the planet? Dont tell me people wouldnt wrestle with that idea of having a gay child in this 'rabidly homophobic country' ... I see what theyre up against; hell, i'm one of the people they're up against with the gay crap in the schools. i dont hate them, but i'm sick of their agenda and i just want some ****ing peace for a change..

i dont want it shoved down my throat in every damn show that i watch. im tired of it being a political issue.. i'm tired of telling parents about what is happening out there and them thinking im nuts.

i'm TIRED of being politically correct cause it may hurt someone's feelings..

so yeah, to get a little bit of peace in this country - yes, i do think people would abort gay children.

do the Lefties really want to walk down this aisle?

Then STOP being politically correct.

That is a choice you can make.  You alone are responsible for your choice.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

To sum it up in four words - "Democratic Underground Supports Eugenics" - It would make a fine bumper sticker.

Just being true to their Progressive roots.  Remember:  eugenics was a Progressive/American Liberal program from the beginning.  The Nazis learned from American Eugenicists.

You're probably right...though it would be "their own side" aborting them, not Christians.
