No one's obstructing my fellow Nebraskan's freedom to run for a political office.

In fact, it could be argued that franksolich has tried to help, not hinder, Omaha Steve.

But of course Omaha's Ed Norton doesn't pay attention to common sense.

Remember, my first piece of well-intended counsel and advice to Omaha Steve was: if you want to win, you'd better quit hanging around Skins's island, because if you do, you're going to be shooting off your mouth saying stupid things that'll cost you not only the election, but even consideration by the voters.

If Omaha Steve doesn't think his association with the primitives is going to hurt him in a red city, Omaha Steve probably had better consult a psychiatrist and get his head screwed on straight.

I'm not God, of course, and so can't tell the future, but before, I'd figured my fellow Nebraskan would finish somewhere in the top ten, probably the middle or bottom.

City Council races are notorious for being low budget affairs. Doubtful that the candidates will have any kind of election staffs, they're usually a husband/wife team, sometimes a few friends help out.

If you flood the opposition with e-mails critical of OS, chances are they'll all be ignored.

Better to flood the local Bellvue (NE) paper and the Omaha World Herald with Letters to the Editor with critical info about OS and his documented anti-Americanism. Oh, and make sure the letters are preface with OS's post that identify him, says that the moniker OS is really whatever the fat, blubbering slob tells of his real life name. Also, put a link in to OS's personal website.

Bellvue NE needs to know. They especially need to see the DUmp thread where OS was debating scraping off all of the socialist bumper stickers from his car.
