Well, the guy who's supposed to be sitting in that cubicle watching the Texas Tech-Missouri game and punching the numbers on the keyboard as they happen, must've drifted off with the office receptionist to a secret corner or something.  It's been "12:03" time remaining for quite a while now.

You know, to watch that "scoreboard" on the Texas Tech-Missouri game, one might imagine the regular rules for football have been suspended, and that Texas Tech and Missouri have 500 "time-out"s each, or something.

Finally.

Texas Tech 27, Missouri 31, final.

I'll bet in real life the game was over half an hour ago.

Frank, you want your upset? Arkansas against LSU next week or UGA in the SEC conference championship. Two strong passing teams that LSWHO isn't used to. The last team they played that put more emphasis on passing was West Virginia, and WVU's QB put up 463 yards on'em and they're not NEARLY the team that a UGA or Arkansas is. :stirpot:

Honey badger don't care. It just takes what it wants.

I know, right? Look at that sleepy little bastard.  :-)

Whoa.

The world turned upside down.

Damn.

Oklahoma 38, Baylor 45, final.

Surely that's the first time Baylor's beaten Oklahoma since Grover Cleveland was president, or something.

Kansas State 17, Texas 13, final.

Southern California 38, Oregon 35, final.

franksolich now 3-2-1 against the primitives, for calling that upset before it happened.

Unlike the primitives, franksolich doesn't pay attention to what the talking faces on television, or what the bookies, say.

Another notable upset of the day:

Clemson 13, North Carolina State 37, final.

1st time ever. They've played, IIRC, 21 times including last night, with last night being their only victory.

Baylor played one of the luckiest games I've ever seen in my life. They caught, but did not make, every break. They'll never see a QB come through there like Griffin (what is this his 7th year now?) again.

That "chop block" call on Finch was one of the biggest crocks of shit I've ever seen.
