10-15 college football live thread

College football gets underway today at 11:00 a.m. central time, 10:00 a.m. mountain time.

The games:

Purdue-some obscure state college in Pennsylvania
Indiana-Wisconsin
Michigan-Michigan State
Ohio State-Illinois
Northwestern-Iowa

Baylor-Texas A & M
Iowa State-Missouri
Oklahoma State-Texas
Kansas State-Texas Tech
Oklahoma-Kansas

The teams above in bold are franksolich's personal favorite teams, not teams necessarily favored to win.

There's of course other games, and the three years past, I covered most of them, from the four conferences that count (Big 12, Big 10, Southeastern, Pacific 10), but it was too much dashing around to get scores from four conferences, so now I just do two of them. 

If anyone else however wishes to add and comment upon scores in other games on this thread, feel free.

One wonders why Michigan and Texas A & M are having such a rough time today; I figured they'd run all over Michigan State and Baylor.

Ags are having a hard time because we can't cover and RVGIII is one of the best QBs in the nation. We stop the run well and get lots of sacks, but coverage and open field tackling aren't our strong suits. That being said, our offensive line can handle anyone and Gray and Michael are the best RB tandem in the nation. If I were Sherman, I'd just line up and run the 'Bone. Tannehill's only purpose would be the read-option. Receivers would just be blockers on the perimeter.

As you know, I can't do radio and television is so much trouble I don't do that either, and so I have to go by what the scoreboards say on the internet, and then read about the games in the newspapers the next day.

And so during the games themselves, I have a definite deficiency of information.
