Oh no! Thank you so much for letting us know...Prayers up.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Hope he is doing better tonight. :(

Prayers sent, Sarasota.  :(

Done.

I know that you're in good hands.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

SR condition is much improved and it is likely that he will get to go home in the next few days. He is walking and is coherent.

Hi, thanks, didn't notice this thread. You are all so nice. SR is indeed doing better. We went to the doc's yesterday and they said there were no after effects of the seizure. (He didn't have another stroke, but we were afraid that it was a possibility). He had a series of seizures caused by the stroke. He was in intensive care for almost 2 days, but has now been home for over a week.

Well don't just let him sit around.  He'll get lazy.  Make him go cut the grass, clean the gutters, power wash the deck!

 :-)

Here's to a continued recovery SR!

Have a safe flight!

Thanks, not getting in til midnight. It's going to be a tiring day, trying to get everything done around the house and the plane leaves from Ft Myers, almost an hour and a half drive. You can barely get anything out of Sarasota, other than Delta, which switches you all over the country. Some of the "2 hour" flights get to be almost 8 hours, just not worth it.

Have neighbors housesitting and dogsitting. We have wonderful neighbors.
