Most of the stations around my area are in the 1.70-1.73 range, with a few now dipping into the high 1.60s.

Can't beat that.....we just got down to $1.92/9

$1.73 here today.  Too bad these lower gas prices won't be reflected at the grocery stores. I guess we might see a slower increase in store prices, but no decreases.

I had noticed a couple of weeks ago at work that UPS and other delivery  companies still have fuel surcharges listed.  :hammer:

Diesel fuel hasn't come down as much as gas.

I don't think the fuel surcharges will ever go away.  I remember when I first started seeing them on the freight bills at work, and they kicked in when fuel was above a certain dollar amount.

Now they're just in effect at all times.
