Does anyone else think that we will see $5/gal by the end of the year if not by summer?

You are breaking my heart. Regular here is over $3.50/gallon. I don't even look at Premium.

I foresee $5.00/gallon by autumn.

Ouch!!

I have to put premium in my car, so that's why I pay attention to it.  Just put $50 in my car.  That should last a couple of weeks.

Good thing the Obozo put the moratorium on American oil drilling, huh?! What a douche.
It cost me roughly 45-50 bucks to fill up a half a tank. :o :o

$3.145 average in New Hampshire, $3.194 nationally today, according to AAA.

I'll make a call right now: $4.35 national average by Memorial Day weekend.

I try not to look at gas stations as I drive by them these days.  But I *THINK* our regular was $3.35 a gallon on Monday.  So the gas for our gas guzzling V8's is probably $3.55.

If America would eliminate restrictions for gasoline extraction, refinement, and production, we could:

1. End the "energy crisis."
2. Force the Arab world to establish market economy practices.
3. Save trillions of dollars from going overseas, adding to the ability to invest in new technologies.
4. Render Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea obsolete from a bargaining standpoint.
5. Save billions in national defense costs.

It's really that simple. There is only one impediment.

The current Democratic Party.
"The main purpose of the Democrat Party and the Left is to destroy the United States, transform Western Civilization to a tribal-based dystopia, and to ultimately kill all conservatives and non progressives." - Jonah Kyle

I gave 3.23 for midgrade today.  Since I get 29+mpg, on a 11ish gallon tank, that is filled weekly,  I don't feel it as much as most.  I remember after Katrina we hit over $4.  It was noticed, but it didn't cripple me.  However, there will be a lot of Duallies and SUV's around here hurting really soon if this keeps up.

Gas is $2.99 9/10ths today in Texomaland. Went to Dallas and everywhere I looked gas was $3.10 9/10ths  or more. I already had a full tank before I left for Dallas, but I'll go fill up tomorrow because I know it's only going to get MORE expensive. I wish I could afford something more economical, but I'm stuck with my truck. Besides, this one's paid for.

I find it amusing people complain about anything less then 4 dollars a gallon. I haven't seen gas that cheap in years. This is the reason I won't own a large car/suv or even think about getting a truck. The record gas price here was 6.26  (1.65/L) if I remember right.

Regular here is 4.64 (1.23/L)
Premium is 4.91 (1.30/L)
And Diesel is 4.72 (1.25/L)

I'd love gas that cost under 4 dollars, consider yourselves lucky.

5 bucks a gallon?  Perhaps, but it sure looks like we are gonna get to at least 4 bucks a gallon within the next few weeks.

Part of my complaint is that the media was all over President Bush when prices went up. Now that ObeyWon is in office, not a word is heard. Or, if there is discussion about it, no blame is placed on ObeyWon.

$3.15 and 3.25 here today.
