Crockspot, God Speed my friend.

Mods, please move if you see fit.  I wanted to post where people would see it, rather than a secondary board.

For those of you that knew Crockspot, I thought I would let you know he passed away.  I have been wondering how he was, I don't recall seeing anything posted from him since Christmas time.  Since he was my friend on Facebook, I looked at his profile tonight, according to his brother, he was found on 1/8, at home, several weeks after his heart attack.   Maggie, his dog is being taken care of by a neighbor at the moment.

Crockspot, rest in peace just doesn't seem enough.  I hope your heart doesn't hurt anymore.

R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

Oh dear God - that makes me want to cry. Beyond seeming like a really good guy, his posts always made me laugh.

Thanks for the info Tots.  I'm so sorry to hear this.  I will be praying for his family and friends.

Oh no!!! I had no idea he passed. Godspeed indeed dear friend.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Damn that is really sad.
I was kind of wondering why he hadn't been around lately.
He was one of the first people I recall conversing with a our old home. He used to point out all my moles at DU.

Rest in piece my friend.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Well, Just damn. I hadn't seen him in awhile which is nothing new. He was fun to read and had a good sense of huor and I'm going to miss him. I remember him from over at the old home. He always made me laugh.

Damn! I was looking forward to more of his recipes. RIP good man. :bawl:
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."
