Hello all.  I have been working on the problem of Government Handout programs for over 15 years, and I think I have some good strategies for eliminating them.  I consider Government Handout Programs to be the key, if we defend Liberty by taking the stand that ALL Government Handout Programs are illegitimate because of Natural Law, and unconstitutional because they all violate the 13th Amendments prohibition on Involuntary Servitude, then we can take down the Left's Socialistic house of cards in one fell swoop.

When Lefty Wing Politicians cannot bribe people to vote for them by promising to take the fruit of your labor and pay off their voters with it via Government Handout Programs, then it will be game over.  Also, the economy will do much better when there is no need for income taxes any more.  The resulting economic boom would mean jobs for all who are willing to work, just as it should be.  :yahoo:

Which is a good reason for people receiving Government handouts not being able to vote.

I agree.  It is wrong for Government to force one person to help another as this is always a violation of the unalianble Right to Liberty, which Government is duty bound to protect.  But as long as the Government is violating our Right to Liberty on a daily basis with Government Handouts, the least it could do is make it so that my neighbor cannot use the Government to rob me by disallowing anybody who recieves Government Handouts from voting.  These days that would include anybody who accepts enough earned tax credits such that they effectivly don't pay any taxes.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
