The measure also bans the use of Islamic law as well.  Good for Oklahoma.

Heck yeah, we shot that garbage down. We've seen what kind of atrocities from justice it has led to in merry, ol' England, Canada, etc.

Yeah, the dried up old prune did that once, can't remember what it was all about.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says that American courts should look more to foreign court rulings and international law in interpreting our Constitution. But she herself does so only when it is ideologically convenient.

During her Senate confirmation hearings last year to become US Solicitor General (the attorney that represents the US government before the Supreme Court), Kagan was asked about her view of the role of consulting foreign law in statutory interpretation. Kagan responded by saying, "At least some members of the Court find foreign law relevant in at least some contexts. When this is the case, I think the Solicitor General's office should offer reasonable foreign law arguments to attract these Justices' support for the positions that the office is taking."

Members of the Muslim community called the question an attack on Islam and some of them said they are prepared to file a lawsuit challenging the measure.

(1)-As soon as they figure out how it will give liberals an advantage....and (2) Which court is the most friendly.
