Sorry that Nevada still has a lot dumb shits living here.

I'm off to bed.  Have to go to work in the morning to support the Reid fans.

I guess I'll be spending my vacation in Florida instead of Vegas.  No offense.

Reid won by 43%, Angle at 39%.

Don't worry about it.  We're not spending any of our hard earned dollars at the casinos that supported/donated to Reid.  If I were you, I'd vacation else where too.  You're not hurting my income, just the union workers.  ;)

Damn EC.  So close but yet so far.  FWIW, my state managed to reelect Eddie Bernice Johnson, and Sheila Jackson Lee.   :mental:

I wouldn't even call 43% a win.  Reid couldn't even get over 50% of the vote.  And if it wasn't for the union bosses bussing in their workers, Reid would not have won.

Yeah, 43% is hardly a love letter, is it?

I'm sorry about New York.  An entire vast state in the grip of a tiny island, go figure.  Also, my rep is the incumbent D.  I'm so disappointed.  He won by only 3800 votes, and not over 50%.  We had some pickups in the state legislature, though.

We have the same "problem" here. So. Cal and the Bay Area dictate the entire state.

Yes, the casino unions came through and strongarmed their employees to vote their idiot back into the Senate.

I hope they enjoy their well-earned permanent vacation from the layoffs that are now going to occur by next spring.

Well, EC, this proves that the Dims don't just vote when they're dead, but run for election when they're walking cadavers, eg., zombies.

I still think Reid is gonna have a hard time sittin' down for awhile after all the "catering" he did.

It wasn't just the unions, the casino management backed Reid also, for some reason.  Reid was on the Gaming Commission at one time, so he probably still has mob ties. :)

Reid claimed the mob tried to blow up his family station wagon back in the 70s.... which was a complete lie, but I don't think Reid is on "friendly" terms with any mobs that may still exist in Vegas.  lol

The mob thing was kind of a joke, but he does seem to have friends among the casino owners.

Guess what? The UPS man just dropped off 450,000 absentee Nevada ballots that got misplaced some how. Where can I turn them in to the proper authorities?

"none of the above" got 16,174 votes.  the false tea party candidate got 6,000 votes. that still doesn't quite make up the difference.

NV board of elections

but the union thugs probably did.
