She is going in for breast cancer surgery on Thursday morning (October 7).
Our family has been through a lot of heartbreak due to this terrible disease. Please pray for complete healing.

Thank you for your prayers folks. The surgery went well. Tumor removed along with surrounding tissue (ganglions) for analysis. They're going to either go for radiation, chemo or both as a follow-up depending on the results. She's back home now recuperating and getting her strength back.

She's suck a hard-working woman, works full-time at a medical clinic helping others (she's a registered nurse) and most of her time off is spent taking care of her kids and grandkids. She NEVER complains and her strength of character is awesome.

Great!  We'll keep praying for her to deal well with the rest of the treatment!

Chemo sounds really hard, but my uncle got throught it pretty darn well when he had colon cancer. My thoughts and well wishes are with your sis. Keep her rested and relaxed before she goes in for treatment, Habs.
