Embedding YouTube links at Conservative Cave

When you want to embed a youtube video, position your cursor where you want it to go, and on the bottom row of "function buttons" the fifth one from the left is for youtube embeds.......if you hold your cursor over it, it will show you in text.  Click on the button, and copy the youtube link in the space provided, just like you would use the "quote" function.

I always "preview" it to make certain it works before posting.

I did - that's what goofed me up - the link worked showing it.  The youtube embed did not.  Color me confused still.  Thanks for the help!   :cheersmate:

Thanks so much.  Here's a try.

Preview doesn't show the link, except in words.  Sorry - forgive me my ignorance.  I am a self-taught computer idiot.

That is the section you copy and put between the YouTube brackets -- everything between the "v=" and the ampersand.
