Uneathed Campfire Remains - Calpeg "I've come to a decision."
« on: August 03, 2010, 06:09:58 PM »
So, I have been on a Peggy-hunt, as there have been no signs of poetic excrement left anywhere to be seen, So I figure CP has simply relocated her toilet to someplace else.. While rooting around an excavation site I came across this thing of beauty..

I've come to a decision.

I will no longer post the audio clips to my poetry...

Why?

It's a ton of work, and not worth it to me, for the comments received.

Anyone who would like to hear my poetry, shoot me a PM with your email and I'll put you on my permanent distribution list...

Sorry, gang...

And if you don't give a damn, well, that's OK too.

She took one of her balls and went home -- but thats not what makes this thread extraordinary.. This does..

What ?? A 'Name Removed' post ? -- nothing special.. Well you know what they say about the internet, right ? that nothing ever goes away completely ?  A bit of further archaeological digging provided fragments that were able to be reconstructed into the glorious original

No one responds to your poetry threads because your poems suck. As in, two dollar meth-addict whore kind of suck. And I'm really sorry that you're compelled to share whatever the hell it is inside you that needs to be expressed in these god-awful "poems", but apparently, your ego needs regular feedings, and we are meant to be your sacrificial lambs.

I am flabbergasted that anyone with anything beyond a high school education would find your poetry to be good reading. I mean, I can recommend some books if people need something to compare it to. It saddens my heart that no one has had the guts to tell you how embarrassingly bad your writing is - and not even that, it's that you lord it over your coterie of ass-kissers like it's something they need to praise you for. C'mon people, SERIOUSLY. The poems posted here should be considered acts of literary terrorism. They are THAT BAD.

And before you slam me for anything I've just said, let me make it clear: I. DON'T. CARE. If you really can't tell the difference between good writing or bad, or even how pathetic it is that Peggy has to come here to get her ego stoked (I don't know, she seems ungodly old - it may be the only thing keeping her alive at this point), then I really don't give a damn what you think.

One more thing, peeps - twenty dollar ****ing forks, bitches.

Few suicide runs measure up to the gloriousness of this. It is 100% Pure Grade-A Win. If there was an award ceremony for best flame-out caught 'on tape'  this post would earn yearly accolades. Parents will tell this story to their children, and their grandchildren. Awesome.

And the bonfire, how did it end ?

I remember that one well. I love Nicole!!!! She is awesome!! I remember when she did that. We all laughed our asses off. She's no longer at DU (obviously), but she is still awesome!!

Let me add this was at a time when a lot of funny poetry threads were getting deleted (can't make fun of the pig even if you aren't) and  a lot of DUers got banned or suspended. And CalPig went on her FB page to applaud the mods, but at DU was nosing around PMing everyone trying to get the info on why people got suspended. She's a snake. And the biggest brown-noser on the planet.

Here is the rest of the deleted sub-thread.. The numbering is wrong because when a whole sub-thread is pulled, the rest of the posts are renumbered.

like an inside joke kind of thing. That last line about the forks is what makes me think it's a joke, as I remember that thread and there was some kidding around on it, too

The post does make me think that I'll have to be rather thick-skinned, too, whenever I get published (or self-publish.) There are always those that have no qualms about holding back how the really feel, no matter how rude they must be to do so.

Take care, Peggy

Peg, your poetry is tacky. Most of it is porn for those with vaginal cobwebs, i.e. you. There will be renewed interest in your poetry for a week because of your cry for help, but it will dry up quickly and you will be left to spew your yeast all over the lounge again so people pay attention once more.

You have no lasting nor true friends here because everyone who has met you irl is creeped out by your narcissism and psychotic behavior. You're not a star, you are not pretty, just a black hole.

My word, this thread was so delicious, I think Ive gained five pounds just from reading it...

I am not sure when Nicole joined DU, but I always liked her. She was funny, and she didn't take any mess. And CP was not for her to worship like others do there. I can still keep in contact with Nicole, and she is not anything but kind. She just got fed up, and MOST all of us loved it. There are always those who like to suck up, but I can say there was lots of talking behind the scenes, and she was applauded for going out like that! By many who CP thinks loves her poetry!! hahahahahahaha

What makes her protected is the money she donates to DU. And people are dumb. They buy into the sweet grandma type that she plays. Funny enough, she rarely EVER mentions her children or grandchildren. And since she doesn't mind talking about her personal life.... Maybe her own children don't buy it either BECAUSE THAT ISN'T WHO SHE IS!!!

You wont - the post has been gone for many months.

I'm fairly adept in getting what I want out of Google and other search engines, and I was able to locate a source for the missing posts - I read them, and had to share because they are wonderful !

There are very few who have told CalPeg 'in person' (well on DU.. if you can call that in person)  that her poetry is just awful. -- And if they do, it seems the mods kill the offender off very quickly, leaving behind almost no trace. Recovering these posts, especially from nearly a year ago, is a rare thing.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.
