I see the answer given, but I'm in the same boat as you.  When I was in High School in the late 70's, I was a group of about 7 others who played D&D.  But even then, we only played it maybe once a month, like we'd pick a Friday night and meet up around 8pm and play until 3 or 4 in the morning.  But after HS, I quit, so all this stuff is new to me, too.

I thought "furries" were those weirdos, that dressed up in furred animal costumes with big heads, and have conventions with each other? Not to be confused with sports teams' mascots.

From my experience with this loser it was to try to get people to come to his club in SL and furry crap. He never talked politics and got butthurt when people wouldn't talk about the stuff only he was interested in. He just left CU for the third time for that reason.

I messed around with SL a bit a few years ago, I did some scripting, and created a few interesting objects... Boats, amusement rides.. blizzard in a can, and a Wonkavator amongst other things, but then it became all virtual casinos, and furries.. and furries running virtual casinos..

oh, and virtual furry dance halls, and furry prostitution. In my virtual abode, I kept a furry head on a plaque - but it just got to be 'too much' to invest in.. It was like hanging out in a big, furry DU..
