I’ve posted a petition at petitiononline.com asking to have the town of Colbert, Georgia, renamed Colbert, Georgia, in honor of Stephen Colbert, a great communicator if there ever was one. The petition will eventually be sent to the mayor of Colbert, Georgia, hopefully after the petition is mentioned on The Colbert Report and Gainesville State College becomes world famous as a result. I am also doing this for my communications class so not only would you be helping to change a towns name in honor of the great Stephen Colbert, but you would also help me get some bonus points.
