Hi, new & confused
« on: April 06, 2010, 08:07:31 PM »
Hi all, I'm Angel, I'm new to most forms of internet networking so could most likely use advice on here.  I'm 25, married, and live in Delaware.  I, like many others, was awakened to the world of politics last year.  Since then I have changed my major in school and joined the local activist movement.  I have been trying hard to fight for my little state, and would love to see what is working for others in their state.  I am about to start collaborating with a few people that I'm really excited about, and I'm helping to start the local Campaign for Liberty group.  I'm hoping it will help get other people my age interested in the movement.

Also, I am a student working to teach history - colonial American history is my forte and I adore any fun facts or documentaries sent to me.  I just started writing for the examiner, you can find my articles here http://www.examiner.com/x-41752-Wilmington-Civil-Rights-Examiner

I'm on the twitter, which I don't really understand, so I don't really use.  Please share any advice you have :)

Angel - welcome! We're so glad to have you. I think you will find this place very lively and entertaining and often thought provoking. This is truly a great bunch of people.

It's nice to see someone young with passion about politics.

How did you find us if you don't mind me asking?
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

I googled conservative forums.  There was a site that came up before this one, but the layout was sore on the eyes and didn't seem very user friendly.

Also, USA4ME - here's the best you're getting :)

Welcome, though I don't recommend running around calling yourself an "activist," we're just Americans that want America back.

Hello from north of the Mohawk, west of the Hudson!

USA4ME's just showing his Zeppelin preferences . . .
