Not to mention he wouldn't give a straight answer to a single question.  I listened to about 5 minutes of the interview driving in to work.  Any more and I probably would have just steered off the road and taken out a tree, he pissed me off that much.

Look for the Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll to take a nosedive after this.

We watched it, and what a total jerk!!

He couldn't even answer specific questions regarding the bill.

It will be very interesting to see what Rasmussen reports. Guess it will depend how many of those polled....also watched Obama. If a bunch of them did...it will have to tank. If they didn't see the interview, or clips of it...it may continue along as it has.

obama picked the worst possible arena to let his arrogance out. FOX has the largest viewing audience. The world got to see what kind of a jerk he really is. I hope there's repercussion from this. HCR= fail would work for me.

I'll give Brett credit. He was much more persistent than any other reporter from the other networks would have been.  He made Lord Zero squirm and act like he was dodging questions.

The war on Fox is already resuming/starting on the lefty sites, I bet.

Bret was a real bulldog.   :lmao:

Good job. 'Course Obammy did his usual 2-step shuffle. But it looked like he was unnerved by Baier who actually threw hardballs. The Annointed One isn't used to a reporter who'll play lap dog.

BAIER: Do you know which specific deals are in or out, as of today?

OBAMA: I am certain that we’ve made sure, for example, that any burdens on states are alleviated, when it comes to what they’re going to have to chip in to make sure that we’re giving subsidies to small businesses, and subsidies to individuals, for example.

BAIER: So the Connecticut deal is still in?

OBAMA: So that’s not — that’s not going to be something that is going to be in this final package. I think the same is true on all of these provisions. I’ll give you some exceptions though.

Something that was called a special deal was for Louisiana. It was said that there were billions — millions of dollars going to Louisiana, this was a special deal. Well, in fact, that provision, which I think should remain in, said that if a state has been affected by a natural catastrophe, that has created a special health care emergency in that state, they should get help. Louisiana, obviously, went through Katrina, and they’re still trying to deal with the enormous challenges that were faced because of that.

    (CROSS TALK)

OBAMA: That also — I’m giving you an example of one that I consider important. It also affects Hawaii, which went through an earthquake. So that’s not just a Louisiana provision. That is a provision that affects every state that is going through a natural catastrophe.

Now I have said that there are certain provisions, like this Nebraska one, that don’t make sense. And they needed to be out. And we have removed those. So, at the end of the day, what people are going to be able to say is that this legislation is going to be providing help to small businesses and individuals, across the board, in an even handed way, and providing people relief from a status quo that’s just not working.

I'm glad I didn't watch the thing.

The DUmmies on Skin's Island must have watched a different interview than we did. In their parallel bizarro world the president owned the interviewer.

Well, the DUmmies would think that.  T'ell widdem.

Everyone's laughing about the earthquake in Hawaii.  It happened in the mid 19th century.

zero was an utter asshole, and everyone can see it, regardless of what the 5,000 on the island think.  A lot of people wrote in to say they were screaming at the TV.  My husband was one of them.

My son and the other half were...the first time it was on.

I was up all night cooking and T was up when the reruns came on....he started in yelling again....

He said that several of his buddies that are still active duty...hate that Obama is CiC and they have no respect for him. Even though they are Navy, they are worried that he's going to get them killed.  :(

The AP didn't think much of the interviewer.  Bret was interrupting prezbo, but they don't mention the fact that Lord Zero was evading the questions.

I watched 5 minutes of it on youtube. I can't watch Obama talk for more than 5 minutes, it makes my blood boil.
He was arrogant and he didn't answer any of the questions, it was a sales pitch not an interview.
I'll give kudos to Bret Bair for not giving the President a pass on his B.S. pitches.

No kidding, from what I saw, if he hadn't tried to wedge the odd question into the pauses for breath, he would have gotten to ask one question and then listen to a 20 minute speech.

Gibbs couldn't keep his piehole shut about it either, basically saying we should all be thankful for the chance to listen to yet another 20-minute Obama speech rather than ask The Great Oz any actual questions.

Obama is like a robot, he just says the same crap over and over, giving a speech to any situation.

I don't need to watch any more of his interviews or venues because I already know what he is going to say, and he is just going to end up annoying me.

So what the hell is the point of listening to him?

I'm just gonna spend the next 3 years pretending he doesn't exist.

That's perfectly fine, but it sounds like you'll know he exists when it's time to pull the lever on that Tuesday in 2012 when it's time to throw that asshole out of office.

CNN is doing a recap of the interview.  Their title is "IN THE FOX'S DEN" and the by-line is "Baer interrupted President".  It's the funniest damn thing... they keep showing interviews with Bush and crying about unfair treatment.
