10. Go to your local Supermarket

Find their brand of Scotch

If Supermarkets do not have Scotch in your state, never mind

I have consumed large quantities of most common things alcoholic and Scotch would be at the very bottom of the list.
To me the stuff just defines nasty so if someone was giving a gift of the worst they can find it is a pretty good bet that they hate the person and are being equally nasty.

(disclaimer that each to their own my opinion only on Scotch  :p)

It's good stuff.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Dickel is good, but it isn't Scotch. And George Dickel's distillery tour is a lot less touristy than Jack Daniels. It's truly in the middle of nowhere.

Johnny Walker Black Label sure as hell doesn't have a "nasty" taste! I usually drink Red Label though, as the Black is a little out of my price range. Only difference is how long it's aged, but you can sure as hell tell the difference. I think Red Label is 10 years and Black is 12. They also make a Blue label, though I've never had the pleasure. It's aged 100 years and goes for around $160/fifth.

ETA: ( every movie I have ever seen where they drink "Scotch on the rocks", is either Red or Black label. The square bottle is a dead giveaway. Bond, James Bond, is 'probly the most popular character. 'Probly why I drink it, heh, heh! )

He has no taste and she wants something horrific so she can't ask him since it's all fine wine to him.

Raven, Go here -- http://www.bungholeliquors.com/  - They are in Peabody, Ma - so it shouldn't be that long of a drive.

If they don't have a store brand, I'm sure you can find some other lowbrow scotch - as well as Bunghole merchandise.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
