poll: are there any primitives we like, or at least respect?
« on: February 12, 2010, 06:03:50 AM »
The latest from my clarebootheluce e-mail account:

A primitive from Skins's island has complained that we "hate" them all.

Well, I dunno.  "Hate" is a pretty strong word, and it doesn't apply even to the four drek primitives; generally the primitives seem to do a pretty good job of hating themselves, so it's a waste of time and energy to hate them.

"Loathe" or "detest" might seem better words to use here.

I guess it's essentially true that we loathe and detest the primitives, but not necessarily all of them.

Over time, most here grew to like the much-lamented Gloria Swanson, first as "OldLeftyLawyer" and then later as "Tangerine LaBamba;" in fact, a few of us even grew to love her with a passion and ardor.

And there was the now-mausoleumed "OPERATIONMINDCRIME;" I myself didn't care much for the operating one, but he was obviously well-liked by many here.

I suppose it's reasonable to say that most here admire primitives when they go against the groupthink of Skins's island.  It's not necessary for such primitives to see things our way.....only that they courageously go against the grain of primitivity.

This for example is one of three reasons I've felt somewhat more than just indifference about the now-mausoleumed cboy4 primitive, who so bravely challenged the rabid hate-filled 0bamaite primitives during the Democrat presidential primaries of 2008.

The second is because the cboy4 primitive had a healthy sense of humor.

The third is because the cboy4 primitive knew more about sports, than all the rest of the "sports" primitives all put together, most notably the truemud primitive and the forked primitive, neither of whom knows excresence about sports.

I used to like the hippywife primitive, once "Grandma" but since rebaptized as "Mrs. Alfred Packer," after it became obvious that she was willing to constantly endure embarrassment and humiliation from Wild Bill, the hippyhubby, just so as to have a man.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always had problems with women so desperate for a man that they surrender all self-respect and sense of dignity.

There's been other primitives, too, for whom I used to entertain kind feelings, the defrocked warped primitive being one of them, but such feelings diminished considerably, dipping way down into negative territory, as it became obvious the defrocked warped primitive actually likes being wretched and miserable.

I'm considerably less critical of the Nebraska primitives (as compared with the primitives in general) because of the land and culture that binds us together.

And as for the inhabitants of Skins's island, past and present, who so kindly lent their assistance to proponents of open and honest fund-raisers five years ago, or for those who've bothered communicating directly with franksolich, I suspect I return the favor by ignoring their existence in their comments quoted here.

Besides the aforementioned TLB and OMC, I do find agreement with Paulsby(?).  He claims to be in law enforcement, and draws the ire of the DUmmies for supporting the police in most cases when they deserve support.

Why are they complaining about anyone disliking them when they are continuously, without pause, banging the hate drum over there?  I suppose their hatred is just and right and pure and integrated.

Hate is too strong an emotion for me to use in conjunction with posters on an anonymous web site.  I won't give them that kind of control over my health.

I voted Maybe in the poll as I've seen a few Primitives in the smaller forums and groups who, despite their politics, post what seems to be sincerely nice or kind things.

I have to give Perky credit for standing up for Christianity from time to time.  There are one or two others whose names I can't recall who do the same.  Any others I've seen defend Christianity were banned.

I voted maybe because as mentioned Paulsby does seem to have some realistic sense of the world so I guess that can be respected when compared to his associates.
In real life around normal people probably not so much.

No.

The world would be a better place without them.

You know of course, sir, our "seal of approval" of a primitive pretty much seems to mean an inevitable mausoleuming.

I wish it weren't so, but alas my fellow alum Skins has different criteria than we do, for what makes a good primitive, and as it's his terrain, well.....

Because of this, I've always worried for the long-term survival of the buzzy one, the "BuzzClik" primitive, and have been hesitant to compliment him too much.

For all of the times that we mention Atman around here, you'd think that Skinner would get the hint.

I agree, Paulsby makes some sense sometimes.  As does County Worker, who once explained to the primitives, in an oh-so-gentle manner, that nobody wants to pay for their free lunch.  There's a new guy popping up, and I can't remember his name.  Someone said "reminds me of OPERATIONMINDCRIME."

This poll by the way accompanies other polls:

Are we too mean to the primitives on Skins's island?

http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,40292.0.html

Do we "snoop" too much on the primitives of Skins's island?

http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,40397.0.html

both of which are in the DUmping Ground here.

In my vocabulary, "hate" is synonymous with "loathe and detest", and it applies to every socialist DUmmy democrat without exception. I rejoice in anything that causes them to suffer. The only redeeming factor in the DUmp's repository of living, breathing sewage is the rather large population of decent people serving as active moles. Their function is like that of a paddle extended into a septic tank to keep stirring up the sediment.

A person who has even a single molecule worthy of respect could not possibly be a DUmp democrat.

I really think we're too hard on Pam. She's been through so much: chemo, an abusive, alcoholic husband, her only child fleeing her home as soon as possible. Not to mention she's an overworked, underpaid public school teacher who obviously loves her students and tolerates the principal with as much love and kindness as she can muster. I really think Pam deserves our respect and sympathy.

I voted 'maybe' only because there is some small question as to whether Skinner himself is a primitive, under Coach's classification system.  I've got a lot of respect for a person who will voluntarily lay his sanity and self-respect on the line in order to keep that much malignant evil contained on one tiny island of the vast Innerwebs Sea.  That respect goes way up when I see that he's able to milk that malignant bunch of ass-boils for cold hard cash every quarter, like prize Jersey heifers.

I'm not saying I'd love to meet $kins for a beer or six, but for his selfless :-) service to this country, he's got my respect.

Don't forget her Downs' problem, her deadbeat siblings, that stupid little jerk at the cable company, her rejection by the cruise ship cabin boy, her abuse by DUmmy TLB, Mark being too stupid to operate the new plasma TV, the years of having a drunk in the basement, her inability to spell or punctuate, putting $500 on the Visa for a $30 Coach knockoff, her brush with death at the laundry  mat, her tombstoning for plagiarism, cancellation of her January Las Vegas junket, a bunch of pricks stalking her, and now Grandma Bonnie.

And she didn't get a trophy, or a plaque, or even a crummy certificate to commemorate her Top DUmmy of 2009 victory.

That's why I try to help out during my fellow alum's fund-raisers, scarlet-lettering the primitives who haven't donated to Skins's island yet, so as to remind them to get the check in the mail.

I know I'm in a minority here, but I don't think Skins gets nearly the funds he deserves from the primitives (this is the primitives' money, not ours, remember; the more to my fellow alum, the less left over to buy dope).

After all, the primitives are hardly a barrel of laughs to deal with, if you're the owner of Skins's island.  I'm surprised the guy hasn't pulled out his hair yet.

We're too hard on poor, poor Pammy. This list is just...well, it's enough to make any mere mortal crack. But Pam is of sterner stuff made, she hasn't let any of this keep her from living large with plasma TVs and cruises and vacations. Never let it be said that her severe disability kept her down! She is a shining beacon to the world of how despite adversity (like chemo) and a disability (her obviously severe Down Syndrome) she managed to reach her goals.

I salute you, Pam Dawson.  :bigbird:

I have no respect at all for any true member of DU.  (not including the moles of course) I could probably like or even be friends with a lot of the DUmmies.  I have idiot liberal friends, but I don't respect them.
