Shake it baby, shake it. Shake it to its core.

It is past time.

Pull the rug from under the blue dogs in the Senate. **** 'em. **** 'em all. We have no majority. We haven't had a majority even when had 60. So **** 'em. Jettison their sorry asses and let them float down the river and out to sea.

**** 'em.

Next is that stupid ****ing filibuster. When going to the toilet requires 60 votes, the system is irreparable. Let's just admit it and kill the ****ing rule. Majority rules.

And let's lose the ineffectual fart-in-a-windstorm that is Harry Reid.

Shake it baby, shake it. Shake it to its core.

Sparkly must be really working overtime with the chemistry set. :mental:

Boy, is he going to be upset when we tell him the answer is "No!"  But it'll give him the opportunity to write something else stupid.

Yeah, he'll want this until after next November when the conservatives are back in charge ... then it will be a whole new story.

I'm really mystified at something.

The primitives seem to think that when one's in the majority, one gets one's way all the time.

Nearly everybody here is conservative, and I suppose at least a majority are Republican.

Can anybody here recall--looking at it from either the conservative perspective, or the Republican perspective (because both are entirely different things)--when the Republicans, or the conservatives, as the majority party or majority sentiment, got our way all the time?

Can anybody recall?

I'm a pretty easy person to please; it doesn't take much to satisfy me.

But I can't recall when I got everything I wanted, when both my own party and my own values, were the majority running Congress and the White House.

That's because they are the products of public school indoctrination and have been raised to believe we live in a democracy. We don't. The Founding Fathers set up this nation as a Republic. There's a huge difference.

I do seem to recall that when the Dems thwarted President Bush, the media trumpeted it as if Rome had fallen.

And what does this mean, exactly?  Is Stinky posting drunk again?  I get mighty tired of these guys grandstanding:  "The time has come!"  "Now is the time!"  "It is past time!" "I want it NOW!"   It's such a tired cliche, can't they find a new one?

I would like to think not but I might be just as bitter and angry if my wife me pee sitting down. Of corpse, I will never find that out.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Ummmm ..... I've seen videos of women who could stand up and pee and there was a whole web site dedicated to teaching women how to do it.   :o

Actually ..... it appears there is a whole SLEW of those web sites!  Web sites for women who would like to stand up to pee!
