The weirdest thing is that I don't care too much because I was embarrassed to be working there. I was pissed earlier and told them where to go. But, man, now I'm just awstruck. You grow up with the belief that if you work hard and what not you'll be okay. You don't count on the fact there's morons all over. At least I've been getting emails of encouragement from people who have the jobs I want one day. Now, I'm just hoping I can get some getback. But, my ex-boss is such an un-ambitious loser that I'll never have that chance. At least I got to tell him, "Coming from this paper, it's an insult."
CrownPrinceBandar (1000+ posts) Tue Mar-11-08 07:54 AMResponse to Original message 2. Neither have I............. But I sorta wish I would be fired from my current position. I'm in way over my head and the only reason I'm still in this position is that I desperately need the $$. Unfortunately, the boss won't fire me because he's violently opposed to unemployment benefits (and having to pay them).Anyway, not trying to steal your thunder. Good luck in your job search.
There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
You don't get unemployment for being fired, at least not in Georgia.
You don't count on the fact there's morons all over.
