Moonbat who aimed to walk to India forced to quit
« on: February 29, 2008, 10:35:32 AM »
Quote
...Mark Boyle, 28, who began his trip with only t-shirt, sandals and a bandage four weeks ago, hoped that strangers along the way would provide him with food and places to stay.

He is a member of the Freeconomy movement, which believes in a " moneyless society in which no money changes and there is no duality between giving and receiving", and would like to see money disappear altogether.

After reaching Calais Mr Boyle made the decision to quit his trip because as he could not speak French people thought he was an asylum seeker or a freeloader and would not give him food or board.

The 28-year-old kept an online diary of his adventure, where in one of his final entries he wrote: "…they had also seen us as just a bunch of freeloading backpackers, which is the complete opposite of what the pilgrimage is about".

Okay, lemme get this straight--you live your life as a freeloading backpacker and then get upset, whiny, and quit when people treat you like a freeloading backpacker?

Well, color me SHOCKED!

When I first saw the thread title, I wondered if it was a moonbat from this side of the pond.   :mental:

Figured he got to the edge and decided not to try to walk around it.

So, he wants to receive, just doesn't want to give, eh? Freeloader? I have another name for it, he's a f'n bum.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Oh for the love of Pete.  How do these idiots think this is going to work;

You go to work and do (insert whatever you do for a living here) then, when the day is done, you just walk into someone else's business and just take whatever you want ..... loaf of bread, bottle of wine, some nice crystal goblets, a Mercedes ... then, because you don't really feel like going home you drive to the red light district, pick up a free whore and take her to the Marriott where you want the Presidential Suite but some ASSHOLE who didn't work as many hours as you did is already in YOUR bed .....  So you go pick up a free .357 and load it with free hollow point rounds  .......

Jeebus.  These folks are too weird for words.

It's funny that they didn't speak his language yet they figured him out immediately!  :-)
