Yeah.  It was discussed around here recently.

I'll set up the league sometime tonight, if no one else has already taken the initiative.  Or if someone else REALLY wants to do it.  Being the commish is such a time consuming job. :-)

I figured we could at least wait until NFL training camps started up to make a league...

If you do it, do it the way you did the baseball--wait until the evening before the first game to draft.

For some reason I had trouble setting it up last night.  No hurry though, so I'm not too worried.

Probably should do it the Wednesday before kickoff weekend. So, preseason injuries, contract holdouts, etc. can be ironed out beforehand.

Are we going to have one this year?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Yes, I will make both leagues in August if Ralphie hasn't already done it.

OK boys and girls, I set up the league:

After going to Yahoo Fantasy Sports, use the following information to set up your teams:

League ID: 515794
Password: VRWC (All caps)

I may adjust some of the settings later on, depending on the group's opinions.  There was no way to set the draft date for the day before the season starts.  Labor Day weekend precedes the start of the season, so I set up the draft for Tuesday, September 1st, 7:30 PM Central.  If there's a big conflict with the time & date, we can always reschedule.

You can be the Pro Pick 'Em CZAR, Odin.  I wouldn't want to have too much power. :-)

Well, there's four of us now so we can have a playoff.  :cheersmate: :evillaugh:

At the current set up, we will play each other 4 times. When you play me, put your 2nd team in. That will help me beat Ralph. :evillaugh:

heh

You will not need that. My "master plan" is the same as it ever was since the days of CU ffootball. That is to dominate until week 11 then fall off a cliff and depart the season in shame. (best $0 i spend all year)  :-)
