Nah, pretty much par for the course.

Can you imagine how different that thread would have been if the %*$&%($^ Freeper Candy Machine had eaten his $1? *eyeroll*

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

It would have been Bush's fault within 5 posts.  :lmao:

Nah, a liberal machine would have taken your money, given you half a candy bar, and told you the other half would be redistributed for the greater good

The government should tax the bourgeiose vending machine corpotocracy and distribute candy bars to the opresses masses of workers who would otherwise have their labor stolen from them with no hope of restitution.

Not good.  There was no cop that jumped out of the bushes, demanding that a second dollar bill be inserted to cover for the loss of the second candy bar, and the candy machine wasn't converted to empty itself of all of the candy bars it had, into the hands of the happy dirty, smelly hippie who was putting the money into it--money that would have gone for his next dime bag.

The Duchebags just didin't carry their analogy of liberalism far enough.

Machine gives a few people two for one then the machine is taken away and the rest of the peole get no candy bars.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
