1. Yes and here are some of my thoughts on this

But yes, they do...
Well, if it isn't one of my favorite people on the internets. The comrade primitive.

2. They would lose.
The government has lots more lethal toys and tricks in its arsenal than any civilian sector could ever hope to match, methinks, and if they don't understand that, they are even dumber than we think.
A weapon is nothing but a piece of metal without the will to use it. Do you know what happens when really lethal toys are employed against civilians? Do you think that there might be a chance those manning the weapons wouldn't turn them on their own countrymen?

4. If you are expecting an army marching on DC
that is not the way civil wars have been fought for a good while.
Though I do not expect the federal government to admit it has an active insurgency either. The media will keep pushing these wonderful lone wolves who are crazy and dumb and most people will continue to believe it.
Most of the insurgencies going on in the world involve muslims. Muslim fighting style is basically raiding. That is why their insurgencies look like they do.

5. Nope. I don't picture them lawfully organizing at all.
Edited on Thu Jun-11-09 01:44 AM by chill_wind
I think they lean towards much more violent impulses.
You mean like the tea party events you hated so much?

6. Good, because they are already organized
and they are going for attempt two on the turner diaries.
Our boy today was a fellow traveller of Franklin Pierce... yep that got MY attention.
Organized? I don't know who Franklin Pierce is, and I don't care DUmmie. I do care when I am faced with what should be political opposition that regards me as evil and seeks to actively silence my political speech, or that of others that believe as I do. That is you DUmmie.

8. Yes. All you have to do is google that up
and Storm Front pops up as the very first hit.
Storm Front is ideologically aligned with you guys, except they think it should be for whites only.

(back when I owned one ) has a very professional military-style endurance/fitness range. I went out walking there early one winter when the place was closed up. Frankly the place gave me the willies.
At least I didn't stumble onto a gun range...
You mean they had an obstacle course set up? By the way, they might teach them gun safety and Basic Rifle Marksmanship with air rifles, that requires very little set up or room to organize a range. Just thought I'd share.

23. remember, they were the ones who said it was unpatriotic to question the Govt.
listening in on citizens' phone calls "to terrorists" ...
I'd say that inciting the idea of overthrowing the government is a bit on the "terrorist" side ... so, expect them to be complaining that the govt. is listening in on their "private conversations" ...
No, we said it was unpatriotic to slander your country and falsely accuse the president during a time of war. It is also unpatriotic to assume all of our soldiers are the same as some miscreants in their ranks. But that's just how you roll, I guess.

26. Yeah I have been concerned about that as well...
A neofacist extreme right wing group could rise up from the unappeased remnants of the religious right. Foreign terrorists would become the equivalent of the Communists that guided the nascent nazi movement in Germany.
This could get extremely ugly.
We would have little need for outside intereference DUmmie. We learned from Charlie. We learned from Haji. You marched in peace parades and smoked pot.

they'd want someone ELSE to do the fighting.
Liar.

7. Maybe
But all they'll really do is shoot unarmed people in the back, by surprise if possible. They don't have the backbone for much of anything else.
Never, ever assume you know either what I am capable of, or what I will do. On the other hand, please do.

17. They wish it, and in the process they are becoming what they proclaim to hate - terrorists
They've spent the better part of 40 years denigrating and disparaging liberals and the meaning of liberal to the point they've convinced themselves the word is an insult. Now rather than seeing the errors of their ways (as blatantly obvious as that is), they are getting even more intense at the prospect of liberals taking over the government. And liberals are no longer taking their bullshit, in private and in public. Liberals are finally finding their voice. That too is getting them unnerved.
As much as they say they hate terrorists, that's exactly what they are becoming - radical fundamentalists who cannot function in a free society and so will resort to violence to get people to conform to their rules.
Yes, I think they want a civil war - between conservatives and liberals. How ****ed is that, though? We are too mixed together. Hard to draw boundaries around that.
The society you want is the antithesis to freedom. You have neither the right nor the ability to force me. What will you do with me, oh great progressive?

19. Most of them are weak willed and would never survive an actual civil war.
I'd predict the left would whoop some ****ing ass.
That's funny. The Gathering of Eagles was one of the few times the left came face to face with a large group of the right. Your anarchists coward away from them.

and third-grade sensibilities.
Like all bullies, they don't have the stomach, the brains, or the skills for a real fight.
Coward? You mean like anarchists when faced with someone who will pound them bloody if they start something? Stomach, skills? I'll lay odds there are folks on the conservative side that have forgtten more than you have ever known about such things.

34. I had one Right winger tell me
Roeder's action was similar to John Brown's action before the Civil War. They feel justified in their belief and it scares me.
Abortion and Slavery are both great evils. Roeder's actions are similar, and just as wrong as Brown's.
