I work at a Saturn dealer. One of our customers is Enterprise Rent-A-Car. They brought in one of their rental cars which happens to be a 2008 Saturn Outlook. The complaint was that it wasn't running at all and had an SES light. The tech had to pull the motor because originally he thought he would have to replace the timing chains on the motor. His diagnosis led him to this. Once he pulled the valve covers off and began working he found the source of the problem. The car has 30,000 miles on it and apparently the car might have had 1 oil change. here are a few pics.. Sorry they are so big. Didn't feel like resizing them.
