Favorite Tea Party Sign
« on: April 15, 2009, 10:37:12 PM »
Hi,

Saw lots of signs today, so many were right on and clever.  Would be interested in seeing some from around the country.

My favorite I saw tonight on Fox said, "I feel like I am a ship off the coast of Somalia"

I am thinking about going to a flag store and buying a "Don't tread on me!" flag.  I fly the US flag 24/7 but that one is sure tempting.

regards,

Okay, someone posted photos on Facebook from the Savannah Tea Party, so I'm reading the slogans currently.

My vote goes to: "What's In Your Wallet? HEY, THAT'S MY WALLET!"

I'll post a pic later but my favorite one was simply a bumper sticker on the back of some guy's coat that said OOPS spelled with two big zero logos.

My favorite was one that said: Toxic ASSets and had pictures of Bawney Fwank and Bella Pelosi.  :-)

Another one was: If you aren't outraged, you're not paying attention.

Hey Thor,

Do I get extra credit on my right wing radical rating if I tell you I have a concealed weapon permit and I was well armed at the tea party today???

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

This one isn't all that creative, but the message is staggering.

I honestly believe that 99% of Americans really don't grasp just how much a trillion dollars really is.

On the front page of our local two day a week paper....

They even had another tea party on Saturday for those that could not make it during the week.
