It sounds like it is getting quite complicated to be a homosexual these days. I pity da foo.
I long for the days when they just blew each other in Greyhound bus station restrooms like decent queers. Such a simpler time and place. *sigh* The ones today just aren't raised right.
I have a lesbian cousin who is in her late 60's now. She has been with her same chosen one for forty years. They don't even live in the same house. They live next door to each other. Together they own two very nice houses free and clear.
My cousin considers her homosexuality to be like a birthmark. It is what life dealt her. She has tried to make the best of it. It is her lot in life.
Whether you agree with my cousin or not, you have to admit she has a sane approach to her sexual desires for a person of the same sex as she. I cannot fault her. She has lead an wonderfully conservative life. She loves her Lord Jesus, and she has never pretended to be anything other than what she is - a woman who does not intend to bother the rest of society with her problems.
I agree, it is a sane approach. I'm not a person that believes homosexuality will keep one out of heaven. To me it's a sin but not particularly different than any one of a thousand sins even Christians, myself included, commit in the course of a lifetime. My stepson is gay. He's a good boy and I love him like my own flesh and blood. We joke about "faggots" and have a great time. He even hated Bill Clinton, which endeared him to me even more.
No, I only have an issue with those who try to paint homosexuality itself as something righteous and noble and demand special rights on account of it. Otherwise, on a personal level, it's not my business.
