Thank God for unsecure networks.

DSL sucks. Has for quite a while now. Nothing is downloading 100%. Web pages, updates, video links. Nothing. Cant even get good streaming porn (j/k) This is the case with both my home computer plugged directly in with the ethernet card and my wireless laptop with the built in PROSet wireless WiFi. Well, I noticed, from my upstairs bedroom, that I am picking up my neighbors unsecure FiOS. I am having a blast downloading all my updates and programs and anti-virus software and anything else I can think of at break neck speeds.

So if my neighbor leaves his front door open one time , that makes it okay to walk out with his TV ?

No, but if his TV should find its way into your bedroom all by itself, you can use it.

You don't want to know what happened to my neighbors computer when I found out he was tapping into my wireless connection.

Let's just say that when and if it actually boots, it acts like it has a life of its own.  And it's gay.

I say this with all sincerity BC.

You are all that is man!!!!

Hey your neighbors garden hose is outside his house too!

Why not hook that sucker up to your water supply and just coast!

He's already paying for it anyhow so it's not like stealing or anything!

Oh, just so l do not get any more bitch slaps because we all know how they make me feel,  ::), l let him know it was not secure and he really did not care or mind if l tap into it.

In fact, after my FiOS comes next week, l will let him use mine for a while.

I don't care if anyone taps into my network. They can do so as long as they don't slow my end down. If they do they get booted off without remorse.

My family keeps our network extremely secure.  Each computer that logs into the network must be given some sort of identification to be recognized by the system in later log-ins and a password to get in each time.
