Roberts switched up the wording, he put "faithfully" at the end of the sentence. Roberts said "I do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of President of the United States faithfully...."

payback for voting against his confirmation.

hell, I am sort of surprised that roberts didn't make him say, "I am a silly nancy boy, and I do whatever michelle tells me to do".

I switched to CNN and even foxnews very briefly. I couldn't stand the multiple obamagasms, and I ran back to C-SPAN.

I recognized snippets and shards of other inaugural speeches. as though he put a dozen or so other inaugural speeches in a blender for a few minutes and used what spilled out.

why do I suddenly feel like I do when my neighbors leave town for a while and leave their teenage kids unchaperoned? really. it's almost the exact same feeling.
