This is as live as it gets. I'm on the blue line metro train making my way to Lafayette Park. Surrounded by moonbats with BDS trying to locate the fundie laughing at them!

Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years.  The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

DUmmie from Rhode island blaming Bush for her states deficit. Claiming Obama "understands the struggle we went through to get here". Now ages babbling about the joys of Polo as a spectator sport.

Mmmmmm...k.  A state blames its financial woes not on the politicans in Sacramento, Concord, or Lincoln, but on Bush.

I would feel a lot better if the quivering, adoring mob was chanting ""USA" instead of "OH-BAH-MAH".  as it is, it looks like a personality cult.

The neighbor just told me that some minutes ago, Nina Totenberg of National Public Radio pointed out that the Republicans in Washington, D.C. today are a "class act."

I didn't expect any less, but I'm surprised the old bag pointed that out.

I assume the wireless overload that was anticipated to occur in and around DC today has taken our "on the scene" correspondent off the air. :(

I am going with C-SPAN on this one.  I don't want to hear about The MichelleStar!'s dress, or how cute sasha and malia are, or any of the other millions of useless and distracting observations that on-air personalities will be making today.

Oh yes.

Just before the old bag reported in on class, there was a debate between two National Public Radio correspondents--one male, one female--about the color of Shelly-O's dress, whether it's yellow or mustard.

Well, shit.

The skies didn't open up--at least out here in the Sandhills of Nebraska--drenching us with milk and honey and strawberries and cream and lollipops and ponies and free food and free medical care for all and free housing.

The 0bamaites, and the 0bamaite primitives, promised.

Maybe the skies opened up elsewhere in the country?

OK, fun with numbers.  guess the percentage of non-moonbats on the mall at this moment.  I would say it's 0.0001%, and that's just because I know that TRG is there.

this has been reminding me of something all morning, and I think I have finally put my finger on it;  this looks like a cross between woodstock, and one of those mass nazi rallies from the early 40's.

Oh, it absolutely is. That's the one thing that worries me the most about all this.

I'm sure that our country will survive. We made it through four years of Carter and eight of Clinton, so we'll make it through four years of the guy who has the worst of both of them, Carter's cluelessness and Clinton's self importance.

so far, he has mentioned scripture, gettysburg, the movement west, and universal health care.

can anyone figure out where the fork he is going with this?  this is looking like "speechifying by committee".

this must be the first part of a three or four part speech.   :thatsright:

he would have been better off if he had just delivered Stump Speech #3, chanted "Yes, We Can" a few dozen times, and gone to lunch.

(the odd semi-anti national security line got equally odd applause)

I watched hm get sworn in just a few moments ago. A tear came to my eye. Not because I was overjoyed, but more because it scares me what this man is, what he can do, and the blind acceptance of him by the masses. I fear for the future of this country and his willingness to abide by the oath he just took.
