I got mine...everyone else can just go to hell.
After all, I only pay $500 a month for the privilege of being insured. Not only that, I have had this sinus infection that keeps getting worse--and it only cost me $20 copay to see the Doctor, $25 copay for my antibiotic and $40 for my cough syrup.
Oh but that isn't the best part!
For the same undertreated infection...just two weeks ago I paid $20 for the Doctor and $40 for the antibiotic.

So far this month, I have paid OUT $645 for the privilege of being one of the elite and having insurance.
Like I said...who needs universal healthcare when we can get the best healthcare money can buy for 25% of our monthly salary.:eyes:

Bitch, when you start saying you have a right to healthcare, you are taking someone else's right to make a living. Why? SOMEONE ELSE HAS TO PAY FOR IT, FOOL! It's YOUR responsibility. You're not my ****ing kid.

They are going to look back on the 25% days with longing and misty eyes.  Just wait, DUmbasses, until you are paying for everybody else too.

The only way a health care system will halfway work in the USA is if we have two systems - government and private.  Of course, taxes will be crushing still, but their will have to be a way to pay for private care too.  "The rich" (normal people) aren't going to put up with a government run health agency.

Then all the doctors will cater to "the rich" and all the poor schmucks relying on government will have to settle for third best (at best), and then we will have the DUmmies bitchin' and moanin' about the inequity of health care once more.

It's gonna be fun to watch (at least) as all the DUmmie socialist dreams of everyone sharing the misery comes crashing down around their health care air castles.  The system will never work in this country without a private health industry thriving as the government systems bogs down in the mud of socialism.  People won't even begin to put up with it otherwise.

It's a bouncy.

No way does Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus, make "only" $2000 per month.

Nurses even in rural areas make a lot more money than that.

Good grief...the whining is incredible!

I have BCBS, and last yr when my youngest was at the ER, an ortho like 6 times over the course of a month (including x-rays every visit), and a surgery at an outpatient clinic, I think my total bill was something like 150 bucks.  I was overjoyed!

If you will recall, back in the days of a President Clinton and the solid majority democrat congress, when the First Lady of the land went behind closed doors and windows with her hand-chosen Flying HealthCare Monkeys, and secretly crafted a plan (legislation) for the government to take over 1/7th of the US economy, there was one particular part of the plan that had Washington laughing behind the Clinton's back.  The part everyone found so funny (in private) was how going "outside the system" to find private health care was to be punishable by prison time for both the patient and the doctor(s) involved.

Someone running for president of the United States, other than Hillary Clinton, should bring up this bit of history.  With all this blustering about "universal health care", someone needs to remind the voters of Mrs. Clinton's long arm of the law ideas.  The public genuinely deserves to be reminded.

Nurses in my town make 60-100K/yr. LVN's make 40-70K/yr.

and they get freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee health care.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

You know, when it comes to the primitives, Ms. Ed the unappellated eohippus doesn't have a reputation and a record for lying, like many other primitives do.

That's not to say the nonmonickered equine doesn't lie; it's just to say Ms. Ed doesn't seem to lie as much as other primitives lie.

However, there's something very wrong here, with her "story."

Either (a) Ms. Ed is not a registered nurse somewhere in northern Texas, being employed as a keyboardist (my guess; given the manner in which she formats her posts on Skins's island) or somesuch at some sort of medical facility, in which case circa $24,000 a year sounds credible.

Or (b) Ms. Ed is in fact a registered nurse, but lying about her income.

I call bullshit...most antibiotics nowadays are being offered on that 4 dollar generic thing a lot of the various pharmacies have going on and you don't have to have health insurance to get that price. I would expect cough syrup is the standard stuff that is slightly better then otc--another 4 bucks. As for the rest, again, I call bs. I have had my children get worse after an initial visit, the doctor will usually prescribe something else with a call in to the pharmacy instead of making us come back again.

I was the same way when I had four wisdom teeth extracted in December of '06. I was expecting to pay upwards of 600-900 dollars out of pocket. With my dental insurance, I had to pay a grand total of $300. My four prescriptions, filled at Costco Pharmacy, cost me $40 total (seriously). So the whole thing cost me $340. I was thrilled.

We can't expect the valuable DUmpmonkeys to use generic drugs.  They deserve the namebrands.
