This is new, and thus far only one other primitive at this campfire; again, the comments are not those of the crooked tale primitive, but from a news-story.

Junk Vehicle Law

DELAWARE, Ohio – The way residents can sell or store a car on private property may be changing in this city.

Delaware City Council is attempting to change the law regarding so-called "nuisance vehicles". The council is pushing to change where junk vehicles can be sold, claiming that such vehicles are an eyesore and detract from property values.

"A car parked out front does not depreciate property value," Scott Larson, a local resident, protested. "It just doesn't."

According to the Delaware City Council and some in the real estate industry, however, junk cars are indeed a problem.

I'm going to watch this particular campfire; there's a sense that as the primitive awake late this morning, early this afternoon, they're going to be dancing around this one.

1. Junk cars "could" depreciate property values

Or, a hugely expensive war that is paid for by deficit spending "could" depreciate property values.

Ah, well, easier to legislate against a car that might have some rust on it. "Clunker reduction" IS ON THE TABLE.

Gee I dunno but it seems that the thing which has devalued property values in some areas is the concentration of urban poor which has been the result of subsidized poverty by liberal government welfare programs.
