"southern" style hashed browns
« on: November 27, 2008, 09:23:32 AM »
Okay, so I had to go to the grocery store in town this morning--it's open 8-10 a.m. today, two hours only--to get some things Turkish, including hashed browns.

I looked in the freezer, and there were four different sorts of hashed browns.

They were all the same size, the same price, so I just grabbed the first one.

When I got back here, I noticed the bag says "Southern Style Hashed Browns."

I open the bag, intensely curious.

They look exactly, precisely, like any other hashed browns I've seen.

What does one suppose real Southern-style hashed browns are?

I can't find anything distinctive about these.
