From my "Every Day for Every Man" devotional:
Lord, I don't understand why waiting is such an impossible thing for me. Time appears to just plow ahead, and the changes I long for seem like dreams. Help me understand that in the waiting I am living out my questions one day at a time. In living out the questions, I can know that I'll no doubt learn much more about Your nature than if I received instant answers and immediate change. Please give me patience and faith. Like the rolling of the unending tide, Father, I pray that You will continue to roll through me, restoring my faith and granting me greater patience for the journey.
