I had to come home early from work. I'm day-drinking. I'm not okay.

On Tuesday; Tuesday, our great gettin’-up morning, our clinic held an active shooter drill. Only they didn’t tell us it was a drill. And instead of a scenario of a called-in threat, they had a security guy prowl the clinic with a toy gun, testing doors to see if any were unlocked.

The providers were in a meeting in the break room when we were told. We crowded into the provider bathroom and locked the door. Nobody knew it was a drill. Everybody was texting loved ones but me; I hadn’t brought my phone to the meeting. So I’m standing behind a locked door, unable to tell my wife what was happening. The guy rattled the doorknob of the bathroom, and then went away. One of my colleagues collapsed in terror and started crying.

Finally, we got the all-clear and found out it was a drill. We also found out that the shooter guy found the MA supervisor in an unlocked room, opened the door, pointed his gun at her, and said: “You’re dead.”

The entire clinic has been reeling since it happened. Providers are calling out, and they’ve sent in counselors for the rest of us. There needs to be an investigation. Why weren’t we told it was a drill? How could they keep up the pretense after people started thinking they were going to die?

I finished the day Tuesday, and worked my schedule yesterday. But I had to go home this morning after seeing one patient. We were all so scared, and I couldn’t text Mrs. Aristus about it. She has been furious ever since. She wants heads to roll. This is legally an act of terror. I don’t know how it is going to shake out.

But I’m not okay. I’m having a drink.

I didn't notice the name of the lunatic who composed this. I just started reading. Then I got to this part...

I immediately thought to myself, "a DUmmie has finally glimpsed the truth: that's its hatred and lunacy has pushed every normal person from its life". Then I read the rest and the composing lunatic and realized that it's just more fairy tale drivel from the dregs of society.
