DHS Says ‘Absolutely Zero Chance’ Migrant Caravan Will Be Allowed to Enter US

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/dhs-says-absolutely-zero-chance-migrant-caravan-will-be-allowed-to-enter-us-6107518

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reiterated its warning against illegal entry into the United States, saying there is “absolutely zero chance” a caravan of more than 600 migrants traveling through southern Mexico will be allowed in.

The DHS issued the warning on social media on Oct. 21 in response to Reuters footage showing migrants walking near Tapachula, in Mexico’s southern state of Chiapas, carrying a banner that read, “Faith and Hope, Emigrating is not a crime.”

“We will protect our borders—America is a nation, not an economic zone,” the agency stated.

More than 600 migrants, most of them Hondurans, left Tapachula near the Guatemalan border on Oct. 20, heading north toward the U.S.–Mexico border.

Apparently, the organizers of this invasion attempt think the midterm election will shut down Trump's border protection.

An Illegal Alien Tried Abducting an Amish Woman in Lancaster County

The Amish community, by and large, lives separate from the rest of the world in accordance with their religious and social beliefs. But even their community isn't safe from the scourge of illegal immigration. A young Amish woman in Pennsylvania was forced to fight off an illegal alien who tried to abduct her at knifepoint, and he was reportedly being harbored by New Jersey's sanctuary laws.

Junior Jose Davila-Moran is charged with assault and attempted kidnapping. According to WGAL News 8, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed the man is from Guatemala and that ICE placed a detainer on him with the Lancaster County Jail.

DHS also said that in 2018, Davila Moran was arrested by Border Patrol in Donna, Texas, after he illegally entered the country. He was a juvenile and was transferred to the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Lancaster County is beginning the extradition process from New Jersey.

The Amish woman used a weed whacker to fight off Davila Moran.

Is the local DA looking into prosecuting the young woman for racism?

Trump Administration Carried Out 980,000 Deportations in First 18 Months: Think Tank

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/trump-administration-carried-out-980000-deportations-in-first-18-months-think-tank-6107959

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conducted 980,000 deportations during the first 18 months of President Donald Trump’s second administration, a report published by the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) think tank said on Thursday.

Trump has repeatedly said that deporting people who should not be in the United States is key to improving national security.

MPI’s report, which it said was drawn from publicly available data, was authored by Marc Rosenblum, a former head of the DHS Office of Homeland Security Statistics, and covers Jan. 20, 2025, to July 31, 2026.

Rosenblum said 20 percent of all deportations in the period involved individuals with a criminal conviction.

Unlike under the LIEden MalAdministration, these almost a million deportees won't be reentering the US soon, another reason to vote against Any-Dem in the 2028 Presidential election.

Portland-Area County To Eliminate All Race-Based Housing Programs as Part of Agreement With Trump Administration

https://freebeacon.com/america/portland-area-county-to-eliminate-all-race-based-housing-programs-as-part-of-agreement-with-trump-administration/

Quote
Multnomah County, Ore., agreed on Wednesday to eliminate all race-based housing programs as part of a voluntary compliance agreement with the Trump administration, which had alleged that the county's "culturally specific" services—including special apartments for the "BIPOC community"—violated the Fair Housing Act.

The county, which encompasses most of Portland, had previously agreed to remove questions about race and sexual orientation from a screening tool—first reported by the Washington Free Beacon—used to prioritize applicants for housing assistance. Wednesday's agreement covers a wider range of programs and requires the county to rescore pending applications for homeless services. It will also require all employees of the county's Homeless Services Department to complete four hours of fair housing training.

Scott Turner, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, said the agreement would help the county's most vulnerable residents.
"HUD is ensuring that local governments use federal dollars to serve vulnerable citizens based on need not new forms of unlawful DEI discrimination," Turner told the Free Beacon. "This agreement shows that no recipient of HUD funds is above the law."

The agreement comes as Multnomah County is fending off a class-action lawsuit from a disabled woman, Michele Mei, who was denied rent relief under the county's race-based prioritization system. That system gave more points for expressing interest in "culturally specific services" than for having a disability, causing Mei to narrowly miss the cutoff for assistance.

Hopefully HUD keeps a jaundiced eye on Multnomah County rather than trusting the county to obey the obey the agreement.
